KromaTiD Chosen to Present at 2015 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference

Fort Collins, Colorado – September 16, 2015:  KromaTiD, Inc. joins 29 other innovative life science companies from the Rocky Mountain region chosen to present at the 2015 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor and Partnering Conference (RMLIPC). Representing Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico and Utah, the companies include emerging and established companies offering groundbreaking pharmaceuticals, medical devices, therapies and technologies.

KromaTiD’s dGH™ Full Genome Screening platform provides genetic researchers with proprietary tools to discover and detect otherwise invisible chromosomal rearrangements.  This unique data–which is outside the capabilities of next generation sequencing, DNA microarrays and conventional cytogenetic methods–provides disease researchers and pharmaceutical developers with important insights into the genetic causes of cancers, developmental disorders and other diseases.

Based on its dGH platform, KromaTiD has successfully developed and launched a full suite of scalable products and services using seed capital from individuals, angel groups, and the State of Colorado.  According to Chris Tompkins, the company’s President and COO, “Our dGH platform is extremely robust and reliable and we have been delighted by the feedback from our early customers and the impact the unique dGH data has made on their programs”.

To build on these initial successes, KromaTiD is expanding their business development and scaling operations.  The company already has secured distribution agreements in Europe and Japan and has a business development agreement for the U.S. To continue growing in the U.S. and expand internationally, KromaTiD is raising an A round. “These funds will be used to expand our worldwide commercialization efforts, accelerate our revenue growth and to bring the company to profitability”, says Alex Vodenlich, KromaTiD’s CEO.

The 2015 Rocky Mountain Life Science Investor & Partnering Conference – spearheaded by the Colorado BioScience Association in collaboration with associations in Arizona, Montana, New Mexico and Utah — will open with a cocktail networking reception at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort in Lionshead on September 23, followed by a full day of company pitch presentations on September 24. A full agenda can be found online.
